80 Cases of Nike Shoes Found
Yesterday, 80 cases of Nike shoes were found hidden in Whitewater, apparently stolen from a train. Dave, husband of one of the Neighborhood Watch Captains (Anne) was riding his Rhino around the area when he came across something suspicious. He had found 80 cases of new Nike Shoes hidden under the bridge........ He called the Sherriff's and they recovered the stolen property. This incident just goes to show that our Neighborhood Watch can work if people get involved, and help make our neighborhood a better place to live, work and play. Good job Dave!!!!

West Palm Springs Village or Whitewater
Whitewater is located between Palm Springs and Cabazon, California. Back in the 50's when this development was in the planning stages it was called West Palm Springs. People that invested here still think of the area as Palm Springs.
Today the 3 most prevalent city names for our area are:
• West Palm Springs Village
• Whitewater
• White Water (Whitewater in Goggle usually pulls up whitewater rafting, and areas in Wisconsin)

Whitewater is located between Palm Springs and Cabazon, California. For years residents have enjoyed an area that has remained "wild" and undeveloped. Many people moved here to get away from the cities, and others moved here to enjoy the weather. There is a fascinating history to this area, you can read about it in the newsletter (link above), and as it is turning out there will be a fascinating future as well.

Whitewater, or West Palm Springs Village, has only recently started developing. You are close to the famous Pacific Crest Trail, a National hiking trail system that goes across several states and mountain ranges. 15 minutes to Downtown Palm Springs, minutes away from the Morongo Casino and Spa, Desert Hills, and Cabazon Outlets, and 1 ½ to 2 hours from Los Angeles.
