Delavan-Darien School District Celebrates Success at 2024 Youth Apprenticeship Ceremony

The Delavan-Darien School District recently held its 2023-24 Youth Apprenticeship Ceremony at Gateway Technical College, where two standout students, Colin Szczap and Mia Rojas, were recognized for their achievements. Colin and Mia, both from DD Tech, impressed the audience with their stories of career preparation and gaining valuable workforce experience.

Expressing pride in their students, the school district stated, "Thank you Colin and Mia for proudly representing our school district and congratulations on all of your accomplishments!" The event highlighted the successes of 21 DDSD students who are on track to become 2023-24 Youth Apprenticeship Completers, showcasing the commitment to education and skill development within the district.

Looking ahead to the future, the district expressed excitement about the opportunities awaiting Colin, Mia, and all the apprenticeship completers. The students' dedication to preparing for their chosen career paths and gaining real-world experience was commended during the ceremony.
